Dr Aparna Hegde is the Founder- Director of the Center for Urogynecology Pelvic Health in New Delhi, upcoming Tata Center for Urogynecology and Pelvic Health Mumbai, and Founder and Managing trustee of the NGO ARMMAN which that has impacted the lives of more than 2 million mothers and their children in India.
She is also a TedX speaker and was awarded the Social Entrepreneur of the year award by USAID in 2018 among others. She is an accomplished researcher and has done pioneering work in the field of 2D and 3D ultrasound of the pelvic floor. She is the recipient of coveted research grants and awards besides having several publications to her credit.
She is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Urogynecology Journal and a member of the International Urogynecology Committee on Prolapse and the 7 th International Consultation on Continence.
